🌟 Destination Jesus: Celebrating 30 Years 🌟

As we journey through this sacred season of Advent, preparing our hearts for the coming of Christ, let us draw inspiration from the wisdom of the saints who have gone before us.

This week, we reflect on the words of St. Teresa of Calcutta:
“At this Christmas when Christ comes, will He find a warm heart? Mark the season of Advent by loving and serving others with God’s own love and concern.”

St. Teresa, lovingly known as Mother Teresa, dedicated her life to being a vessel of Christ’s love, serving the poor, the sick, and the marginalized with boundless compassion. Her life was a powerful testimony to the transformative impact of love and service rooted in faith.

As we reflect on her words, let us consider how we can prepare a warm and welcoming place for Christ in our own hearts by reaching out to those in need. The world is yearning to see His love in action, and our small acts of service, when done with God’s love and concern, can have a profound impact.

This Advent season, may we slow down, open our hearts, and be intentional about seeing Jesus in everyone we meet. Let us embrace the call to love and serve, preparing not just our homes, but our hearts, for the coming of Christ.

📖 How will you reflect His love this Advent? Let’s prepare Him room together.

✨ Destination Jesus 2025: Sound of the Saints ✨

For 30 years, Destination Jesus has been a powerful Eucharistic-centered retreat for teens in our diocese, and we’re excited to invite teens from every parish to join us this year! 🙌

This year’s theme, Sound of the Saints, calls us to remember the “cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1) who have gone before us, and to answer the call to go out into the world and preach the Good News. As we run the race of life with perseverance and grace, the Eucharist is our source of strength and the “sound” we make today echoes through time, impacting a world desperate to know the Lord. 🌍✝️

Let’s come together to experience the power of His presence and be inspired to live a life that reflects the beauty of the saints. Join us at Destination Jesus 2025—a retreat to encounter Christ, embrace our call, and carry the Good News to the world!

👉 Teens, contact your youth ministers for more details!
